What to buy in Ireland
In Ireland you can find many good opportunities for shopping and gifts. Local craftsmanship has a very good quality, and it is not difficult to find original manufactures in each county, with some particularly precious items such as the Waterford’s crystals, which can be admired in the old crystal house founded in 1783 in the homonymous town; or the warm wool pullovers of the Aran islands, with patterns varying according to the clan; or the traditional Donegal tweed, used to prepare colourful hats, scarves and ties.  Also, you can find beautiful embroideries, lines and precious laces, as well as fine examples of porcelains and terracotta, like collecting teapots.
For food lovers, do not forget to buy some exquisite smoked salmon, cheese and a couple of whiskey bottles.
